For what it's worth, Arbiters of Hexis and Perrin sequence are the two syndicates I see advertised the least often.įirst, never spend your standing unless you have a sale. Just pick two allied syndicates and start grinding. You can always buy or trade for them later. Don't worry about what mods you personally want. You should be able to sell any and all syndicate mods because they are unobtainable to most people. I honestly don't think it matters that much. Something besides Steel Meridian and Red Veil because that's what I'm in. There's no reason to sell any lower and waste daily trades or standing when I know I can get those prices no problem. Not a lot of people complain about those prices. I will let myself be bargained down to my base prices: 20p for the first mod and 15p for each additional, but that's as low as I go. I get more buyers advertising Fatal Teleport or Rising Storm for 25p than I do Red Veil mods for 20p. With Rathuum and Fatal Teleport this week, I've been selling out of Ash mods faster than I can earn standing.

Sometimes on weekends I advertise 25p each or 2 for 40p. I typically advertise mods 20p or 2 for 35p and get a buyer every five posts on average. It took me a while to figure out the pricing but now I will not sell a single mod for less than 20p and I will not sell multiple mods for less than 15p per mod. I personally just buy weapons from my own syndicates with plat rather than use up my standing. If you're really crunched for time, selling weapons is a viable way to make platinum, just know that selling mods can earn you twice as much. I happen to work from home, which means that I can spend a lot of time near the Xbox even if I'm unable to actively play. It just takes more time on the trade channel. For selling 5 mods I would expect to earn 65 plat minimum and potentially over 100. I'd be very lucky to get 60 plat for a Vaykor Hek, which costs 5 mods worth of standing and can only be sold to high ranked players. Furthermore, each 25k of standing can be converted into any of over 30 mods, so rather than have one potential item to sell you have dozens, letting you satisfy the needs of more potential customers. RNG can't screw you because you always get what you want: standing. If you are the highest rank in a syndicate, it's easy to grind for standing and you always know exactly what you'll get.

Syndicate augment mods are desireable, game changing, and unobtainable through grinding unless you are the highest rank in the right syndicate. Why grind for syndicate mods instead of other mods or prime parts and sets? Now that I've bought every vaulted warframe at exorbitant prices (Frost 1100, Mag 400, Rhino 225, Ember 1350) plus whatever mods and prime parts I've needed, without spending a dime of real money, I'm sharing my secret to making platinum: sell syndicate mods.
